Printer error messages

This page lists common error messages on your Belt printer and how to resolve them.

Can not update MCU 'mcu', error configuring printer.​

The MCU is the printer's main control board.

  • Check if all cables from the screen to the printer are connected correctly.

MCU cable check

Shutdown due to webhook request.​

This is an emergency stop.

  • Check if the x & y offsets are movable
  • Check if the printer is on 4 legs (is it shaking?)

Webhook shutdown check

Heater extruder not heating at expected rate.​

  • Solution 1: Check if nozzle sock is torn -> if torn, replace the sock and try again.
  • Solution 2: do a PID calibration (tuning the heater's temperature control). (Click on temperature, insert 270 degrees, and click on calibrate)

Belt cracking.​

  • Belt too tightened, loosen belt.

Layer shift.​

  • Check if belt is too tight, loosen belt.
