4. Export

The Export tab provides options for exporting your midsole designs and sending them to production. It's organized into three main sections: Export, Order, and Produce.

Export

Export STL

Account Deduction

When using this option, one export will be deducted from your account for the selected product.

When you click Export STL, a popup appears with export options to export the product in STL format. The options use netto (net: the shoe last on its own) and bruto (gross: the shoe last with the midsole fused):

Order

Visibility

This section is only visible when your account is configured with at least one outsource partner.

Account Deduction

Ordering will not deduct any midsoles from your account.

ControlWhat it does
Save OrderSaves the design in .l3z format as a production item. Unlike the design export, these files cannot be modified.
Place OrderUploads the design to the order/outsource platform of your selected outsource partner.

Produce

Account Deduction

Placing in production will not deduct any midsoles from your account.

Produce NowAdds item to production queue and opens it immediately for export.
Place in ProductionAdds the design to the production queue for later processing.

When clicking Produce Now with the midsole enabled, options include:
