Scanners

Location: Account → Settings → Basic

Set up the 3D and 2D scanners used by this workstation. Click Save to apply.

3D scanner

Setting	What it does
3D scanner	Selects your scanner: NONE, LXSeries, LX250, or LX1700.
Sensitivity	Scan sensitivity from Very Low to Very High. Shown only when LXSeries is selected.
Mirror 2D	Mirrors the 2D scan image produced by the 3D scanner.

The dropdown also lists a number of third-party scanner models. If you use one of those, your supplier can tell you which entry to select.

2D scanner

Setting	What it does
Twain UI	Shows the scanner's own dialog during scanning. When off, scans run without showing that dialog.
2D scaling	Automatic or Manual scaling of the scan.
Ratio	Manual scale factor applied to length and width (1.0 = no change). Shown only when Manual is selected.
Contrast	Low darkens and enhances the scan image with brightness, contrast, and saturation correction. Normal applies no correction.
